The Government of India welcomes a 12-member Egyptian youth delegation visiting India from 26 November to 3 December 2025 under the India–Egypt Bilateral Youth Exchange Programme.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population of Egypt, received his Indian counterpart, Jagat Prakash Nadda, Minister of Health, Chemicals, and Fertilizers, to enhance cooperation in healthcare, particularly in exchanging expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and exploring joint investment opportunities between the two countries.
The first round of the Egypt-India Strategic Dialogue was held yesterday, Thursday, in New Delhi, co-chaired by Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, and Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Indian Minister of External Affairs.
Indian External Affairs Minister and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) from Gujarat State, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, expressed his pleasure in co-chairing the inaugural round of the India-Egypt Strategic Dialogue alongside his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs.
Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, met with Jagat Prakash Nadda, Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Leader of India’s Ruling Bharatiya Janata Party, on Thursday in New Delhi.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister traveled to the Indian capital, New Delhi, yesterday to hold the first round of the strategic dialogue between the two countries at the foreign ministerial level. He will also hold bilateral meetings with senior Indian government officials, as well as heads of major Indian companies, as part of strengthening bilateral relations and the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, met today, Thursday, with Harsh Agarwal, President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, at the Federation’s headquarters in New Delhi.
The Embassy of India in Cairo organized a two-day exhibition (October 2–3, 2025) titled “The Human Cost of Terrorism” at the India House in Zamalek to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2, which is celebrated globally as the “International Day of Non-Violence.”
Mai Farid, Executive Director of the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance, received Suresh K. Reddy, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Egypt, to discuss bilateral cooperation in the areas of digital and technological transformation of the system, integration between the public and private sectors, and leveraging the Indian experience in implementing the comprehensive health insurance system (Ayushman Bharat).
Dr. Maya Morsi, Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity, received Suresh K. Reddy, India’s Ambassador to Egypt, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The Minister praised the relations between Cairo and New Delhi, given the strategic partnership between the two friendly countries.
