The trade between India & Guatemala has always been rising with prosperity since the time (2009-10) when the bilateral trade between them was $92 million & during that time, India had a larger portion of contribution in the trade level because this trade figure constitutes 95% Indian exports.
There are several arenas like foreign trade, currency rivalry & national security between US-China that ingest strain between the bilateral ties over the last decade especially. But after a lot of ruckus, there is still a sense of cooperation between the two on matters like global climate change & specifically on the Covid 19.
Almost a decade ago, when the world & especially India initiated looking for EVs as a substitute of carbon-based vehicles, it seemed quite herculean for a nation like India to bring such an innovative but a sudden revolution because it takes a lot of infrastructure in terms of charging stations & technology like electric batteries to promote & make EVs feasible in the country
