Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of New Zealand H.E. Mr. Winston Peters, accompanied by Trade Minister Mr. David Parker and business delegation are visiting India from February 25-28, 2020.
Dy. PM and Foreign Minister met with External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr. S Jaishankar on Feb 26, 2020 and reviewed the state of bilateral relations and discussed steps to intensify political, economic, defence, security and people to people relations.
The meeting was followed by a working dinner at Hyderabad house, which was joined by Trade Minister Peters who also met Hon’ble Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal on February 26, 2020. Minister Parker also met Hon’ble Finance Minister Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman on February 26, 2020.
Dy. PM Peters will be meeting Hon’ble Minister of Environment, Forest & Climate change Shri Prakash Javdekar on Feb 27, 2020. The New Zealand delegation will be visiting Mumbai and will also interact with Indian industries.
