Diplomatic Engagement in New Delhi: President Alexander Stubb Meets EAM S. Jaishankar

During his official visit to India, Alexander Stubb met with Subrahmanyam Jaishankar in New Delhi on 5 March 2026, marking an important diplomatic interaction aimed at strengthening relations between India and Finland.

The meeting formed part of President Stubb’s state visit to India from 4–7 March 2026, which included a series of high-level engagements with Indian leaders. His visit reflects the growing engagement between the two nations as they continue to expand cooperation in areas such as technology, sustainability, trade, and global governance.

During the discussions, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and President Stubb reviewed the progress made in India – Finland bilateral relations and explored ways to further deepen cooperation. The Finnish President also participated in the globally recognised Raisina Dialogue, where he delivered the keynote address, engaging with policymakers and experts on pressing international issues.
