National Days
World National Days
A National Day is a specific date set aside to celebrate the nationhood of a country or territory, sovereign or otherwise. This occasion typically marks a significant event such as independence, the establishment of a republic, or a notable date linked to a patron saint or ruler, such as a birthday, accession, or removal. While it may not always be formally referred to as a "National Day," the observance often serves the same purpose. In most cases, the National Day is also recognized as a public holiday.
