India and Sweden continue to be steadfast partners in promoting innovation and sustainability
The Embassy welcomed a delegation from the Leadership Group for Industry Transition (LeadIT), comprising representatives from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), as well as leading stakeholders from the steel and cement sectors. The visit formed part of the ongoing India-Sweden Industry Transition Partnership (ITP).
The Cd’A received the delegation alongside Mr. Per Andersson, Head of the LeadIT Secretariat. The visit is embedded within a broader program hosted by LeadIT, aimed at fostering dialogue and collaboration among government, industry, and research institutions from India.
ITP underscores the vital importance of international cooperation in advancing climate action, bringing together countries and companies committed to leading the industrial transition in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
India and Sweden continue to be steadfast partners in promoting innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth on the shared path toward achieving Net Zero.
