India and Egypt Explore New Avenues for Parliamentary and Bilateral Cooperation
Kamel Galal, Egypt's Ambassador to New Delhi, met with Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Indian Parliament and one of India's leading political thinkers.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the historical friendship between Egypt and India and the current trajectory of bilateral relations, including ways to enhance these relations across various fields, with a particular focus on strengthening parliamentary communication and cooperation. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual interest.
The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee expressed his pride in the friendly relations between Egypt and India and his appreciation for Egypt as a key partner for India.
For his part, the Egyptian Ambassador conveyed Egypt's keenness to strengthen communication with the Indian Parliament and expand cooperation between the two nations, reflecting the strength and warmth of the partnership between Egypt and India.
